“Our family is not necessarily biological Baloians. Our family are the people who have been working here all these years.”
Tim Baloian, CEO of Baloian Farms, is steering a century-old legacy into the future. As the third-generation leader of the Baloian family business, Tim honors a rich agricultural excellence tradition by pioneering innovative approaches for the upcoming fourth generation. Under his leadership, the company continues to flourish, blending deep-rooted values with forward-thinking strategies to meet the challenges of modern agriculture.
A young Tim began his journey in the family business at age 11, taking on tasks in the packing house and various odd jobs. He loved these moments, especially those spent working alongside his dad, the second-generation Baloian. By age 16, he was trusted to drive the truck into the fields to collect the freshly harvested vegetables. At 19, Tim officially started working full-time.
Tim’s leadership philosophy centers on the principle that the company is nothing without its employees, emphasizing their pivotal role in every success.
He gains valuable insights that influence the company’s strategy and offerings by consistently putting himself in the customer’s shoes. As a firm advocate for quality, he ensures that every product and service meets the highest standards. His dedication to honesty and transparency directs the company’s operations, enhancing trust and integrity in all business interactions.
Tim is a spiritual man who trusts God to guide him through challenging times. He embodies this faith by paying it forward—through the Baloian Family Foundation, he supports various Christian ministries and organizations.
Born and raised in Fresno, California, Tim is happily married to his wife, Barbara. They have three grown daughters, five grandchildren, and a Boston terrier named Bentley. He’s also a licensed pilot and frequently pilots the company plane, integrating his passion for flying with his role as CEO.
