Richard Cowden, a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing management. He has spent the past 27 years in the produce business, a testament to his dedication and expertise. Richard’s journey started with fruits and vegetables at local farmers’ markets on the California Coast. During college, he managed high-volume produce departments for national grocery store chains. Currently, Richard is investing his expertise with the Baloian family in Fresno, CA, where he has been for the past 18 years, serving the company in their sales department. Beyond his professional life, Richard’s diverse interests and hobbies include playing tennis, walking dogs, dancing, cooking, hiking, off-roading, chasing total eclipses, and spending time outdoors with friends, family, and his dog, Winston.
