Emily Baloian, Field Operations Manager at Baloian Farms, nurtured her passion for agriculture from a young age. Every summer, Emily immersed herself in different aspects of farming, gaining valuable hands-on experience from field harvest to operations in the packing shed.
Her commitment to agriculture deepened at 18 when she began officially working at Baloian Farms while pursuing a degree in crop science at Fresno State University. Her extensive training and academic background, not to mention her love of farming, makes Emily a natural in the role of Field Operations Manager.
Born into the Baloian family, Emily is deeply committed to preserving her grandparents’ legacy for future generations. She is honored that Baloian Farms can provide jobs for many people and their families, stemming from her ancestors’ passion for farming.
Emily is the main point of contact between the farm and external parties—suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies, and is an excellent communicator.
No stranger to modern technology, Emily keeps exploring innovative farming techniques to increase efficiency and productivity.
A native of Fresno, California, Emily loves the outdoors. Her hobbies include snow skiing, bike riding, and walking. She’s a great mom to her two wonderful kids, Gabby and Logan, a handsome German Shepherd named Aiko, and a sassy Shih-Tzu named Trixie.
