As Controller of Baloian Farms, Mark Cutting brings over forty years of invaluable experience in agriculture and food production. His journey began in the disciplined ranks of the United States Air Force, where he served as a weather technician. Mark enthusiastically transitioned into the agribusiness sector. His academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Fresno State University.

Mark’s professional trajectory is a testament to his dedication and versatility. After military service, he joined Foster Farms in Turlock and simultaneously enrolled in night school. His early experience laid the foundation for his expertise in the industry. He then moved to Sun Met in Del Rey, enhancing his skills in apple and stone fruit logistics while completing his degree in Accountancy.

His journey continued at E&J Gallo Winery, then followed by a pivotal role at Pacific International Marketing in Salinas, where he honed his knack for produce marketing.

Mark’s professional journey came full circle, bringing him back to Fresno to take on a prominent role at Borges International, a company dedicated to Mediterranean food products. His academic achievements align closely with his career trajectory. After earning his MBA from Fresno State Craig School of Business, he dedicated seventeen years to Pioneer Farm Equipment Co. before accepting his current position as Controller for Baloian Farms.

Outside of his professional universe, Mark is deeply committed to his family, with whom he cherishes spending time. He’s also an avid woodworker and motorcycle enthusiast, passions that reflect his hands-on approach and love for adventure.
